Meet the Artist

Welcome to my botanical fine art collection, where every piece tells a story of nature, life, and self-expression. For as long as I can remember, art has been my passion a journey of discovery that has unveiled parts of who I am. To me, art is more than just a expression ; it’s an intimate reflection of my soul, a visual extension of my thoughts and emotions. My connection with botanics began at an every age visiting the Birmingham Botanical Gardens every week and playing around in my grandmothers garden filled with plants we would occasionally chose to plant together. As time went on flowers and nature stayed with me and wormed its way into my practice. Through the delicate intricacies of each botanical subject, I aim to capture the beauty and complexity of the world around us, while sharing a piece of myself with you. Every brushstroke is a dialogue between nature and my spirit, and I invite you to explore this world of tone, texture, and meaning, where art meets identity.

What makes my work even more meaningful to me is my focus on the cycle of life and death within plants. The rapid transition from vibrant life to quiet decay has always fascinated me. Death, while often seen as dark and depressing, can also be one of nature’s most profound and beautiful processes. In plants, we witness how life can fade so quickly, yet still leave behind a lingering beauty in its wake. It’s a reminder of how fleeting and fragile our existence can be, and how every stage, no matter how brief, holds its own kind of grace. This delicate balance between life and death in plants resonated deeply with me. Botanical art became my main focus for its raw honesty, its transience, and its ability to capture the beauty in endings as much as beginnings.
